Question 1

Is Creatoro really free? Are there hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Free plan is genuinely free with no time limit and no trial period. You get unlimited automations, 1,000 DMs per month, unlimited contacts, and comment-to-DM automation without spending a dollar. You only upgrade when you need higher volume or premium features like contact tags, story mention triggers, and card messages.

Question 2

Do I need a credit card to sign up for the free plan?

Accepted Answer

No. You can connect your Instagram account, create automations, and start sending automated DMs without entering any payment details. We only ask for payment information when you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.

Question 3

Does the free plan put a Creatoro watermark or logo in my DMs?

Accepted Answer

No. Creatoro does not add any watermark, branding, or footer to your automated DMs on any plan, including the free plan. Every message looks like it came directly from you.

Question 4

What types of messages can I send in my automations?

Accepted Answer

Creatoro supports the full range of Meta-approved message formats: plain text, images, videos, audio and voice notes, button templates (DMs with 1 to 3 tap-to-reply buttons), and card messages (an image with a headline and CTA button, like a product card sent via DM). All formats go through Meta's official API and comply with Instagram's messaging policies.

Question 5

Can I automate replies to story mentions and story replies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When someone replies to your story or tags you in their own story, Creatoro detects it and triggers a DM flow automatically. Story reply and story mention automations are available on all plans.

Question 6

What is the difference between Creator and Studio plans?

Accepted Answer

Creator ($19/mo, or $15/mo billed annually) is built for individual creators: 10,000 DMs per month, unlimited automations, unlimited contacts, all triggers including story mention, unlimited follow gate, contact tags, CSV export, card messages, and 90-day analytics. Studio ($49/mo, or $39/mo billed annually) is for high-volume creators and agencies: 30,000 DMs per month, unlimited scheduled posts, 365-day analytics, CSV and Excel export, and dedicated 1-on-1 support.

Question 7

Can I cancel my paid plan at any time? What happens to my automations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel from your account settings at any time. If you cancel a paid plan, your account reverts to the Free plan limits at the end of your billing period. Your automations stay configured and your monthly DM limit drops to 1,000. Premium features like contact tags and story mention triggers become locked.

Question 8

Do I need a Facebook Page to use Creatoro?

Accepted Answer

No. Most Instagram automation tools require you to link a Facebook Business Page. Creatoro connects directly via Instagram Login. All you need is an Instagram Creator or Business account. No Facebook Page, no Business Manager, no extra steps.

Question 9

Is Creatoro against Instagram's Terms of Service?

Accepted Answer

No. Creatoro is built entirely on Meta's official Graph API. We do not scrape, simulate keypresses, or access Instagram in any unauthorized way. Every action goes through Meta's approved endpoints.

Question 10

Will my account get banned or restricted?

Accepted Answer

Creatoro respects Meta's rate limits and safe messaging guidelines at a platform level. We use intelligent queuing so your account never sends messages faster than what Meta allows. The risk profile is the same as using any other Meta-approved business tool.

Question 11

What are Meta's rate limits and how does Creatoro handle them?

Accepted Answer

Meta limits automated DMs to protect user experience, allowing approximately 200 automated messages per hour for business accounts. Creatoro's queue system automatically spaces messages to stay within these limits.

Question 12

How does Follow to Unlock work?

Accepted Answer

When a user taps a link and is not yet following you, Creatoro sends them a follow prompt. Once they follow your account, the flow automatically continues and they receive whatever you promised: a guide, a link, a discount code.

Question 13

What are ice breakers?

Accepted Answer

Ice breakers are conversation starters shown at the top of your DM thread with a new follower: tappable buttons that replace a blank screen. You can set 2 to 4 custom prompts that trigger automation flows when tapped.

Question 14

What is the difference between button templates and card messages?

Accepted Answer

Button templates add 1 to 3 tap-to-reply buttons to a regular text DM. Card messages are rich-media DMs that include an image, headline, subtitle, and a CTA button, essentially a product card sent via DM.

Question 15

Can I auto-hide or delete comments on my posts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can create keyword rules to automatically hide comments from public view or permanently delete them. Useful for filtering spam, competitor mentions, or off-topic content.
