Feature Comparison
Comment-to-DM
Both tools offer keyword-based comment-to-DM triggers. You set a keyword, and any comment containing that word triggers a DM. Both use Meta's official API, so this is safe for your account.
DM Keyword Automation
Both tools support keyword auto-replies inside direct messages. This lets you build FAQ bots and sales funnels directly in your inbox.
Story Automations
Creatoro includes story reply automation on all plans (including Free) and story mention automation on Creator and Studio plans. InstantDM also offers story triggers, though availability depends on the plan.
Follow-to-Unlock
Creatoro offers a follow-to-unlock feature — gate content behind a follow to grow your audience as part of your funnel. This is available on all plans (1 automation on Free, unlimited on paid).
Comment Moderation
Creatoro includes auto-hide and auto-delete for unwanted comments based on keyword rules (Creator and Studio plans). InstantDM focuses primarily on DM features.
Post Scheduling
Creatoro includes native Instagram post scheduling on all plans. InstantDM does not offer scheduling — you would need a separate tool for that.
Pricing
Creatoro:
- Free: $0/month — 1,000 DMs, unlimited contacts, no watermark
- Creator: $15/month (annual) — 10,000 DMs
- Studio: $39/month (annual) — 30,000 DMs
InstantDM pricing varies by plan tier. Check their current pricing page for exact numbers.
Creatoro's free plan is notably generous: 1,000 DMs per month with no watermark and no contact limits.
Setup
Both tools connect directly via Instagram Login. Neither requires a Facebook Business Page. Setup for both is quick — typically under 10 minutes.
